• In 2015, after becoming frustrated with his company CallLoop, the author wrote a 3-part blog series called "The Death of CallLoop".
• In the first post, he detailed how he had built a business that he secretly despised. The company was doing well but was plagued by technical issues.
• In the second post, he explained how his hands were tied in trying to fix all the problems. He decided enough was enough and started working on a new product idea: conference call software.
• However, after a year of no traction and minimal revenue from this new product, he realized it wasn't what people wanted.
• It was then that he had the thought that "people want conversational sms", which led him to create Salesmsg.
